Luxury Vacation Home Website
This startup engaged my services to conceive and execute the design and development of their new website with the primary objective of appealing to high-end clientele. Additionally, they sought to establish a client portal enabling users to conveniently submit grocery lists, cleaning specifications, and upload photos for enhanced interaction.
The Problem
The owner had initially designed the website using an AI website creator tool. However, they were dissatisfied with its appearance and faced challenges in making necessary adjustments or incorporating essential features required for their business..

For this project, I was the designer of the website and the developer as well using WordPress and Elementor. .
Who Are the Users?
Winter Travelers
In the colder months, affluent families and empty nesters from the eastern regions of the United States and Canada embark on journeys to warmer destinations. Drawing from my previous experience at Closet Factory, I had a clear vision of the user journey for clients in this demographic and a well-defined concept for the website’s desired look and functionality.
User Personas
These personas were created to use as a guide for the website and the user that would be viewing the sie.
Key Challenges
The website was constructed using an AI tool, resulting in a haphazard assortment of typographic styles and an inconsistent design that fell short of delivering an optimal user experience. While the owner had a vision in mind, achieving the desired display of information in an appealing and accessible manner proved challenging. Additionally, the image collateral generated by the AI tool failed to align with the site’s content requirements, creating a disparity in visual elements.
Services Showcased
To showcase the services to potential clients, I designed a dedicated section that clearly presents the array of offerings the company provides. These service descriptions are interactive, allowing users to click for more detailed information.
Detailed Menu CTAs
I also created distinct sections, each featuring compelling calls to action for users to delve deeper into the services provided. Additionally, I optimized the visual content to align more closely with the relevant topics.
Design Strategy
Regrettably, the project had to be put on hold due to budget constraints and is expected to resume in the spring of 2024.
Once the budget is reinstated, I will proceed with finalizing the design for the remainder of the website, as well as crafting a custom client portal tailored to meet the project’s specifications.

Next Steps
The design off the app was a success not only does it help managers give and track tasks given to their drivers it also allows for countability from both the driver and the client by having an app where the client receives the shipment by signing the document on the app.
Next steps, is to give the designs and have the engineers create the app.
